About Us
More Than Just a Brand
Welcome to Best If Worn By, a brand with a story rooted in purpose and fueled by a passion for creating positive change. The idea for this store began with a simple concept: a line of clothing marked with an expiration date. These pieces were designed to be recycled, donated, or
repurposed once the date passed. But they could also be worn proudly as a statement, a testament to enduring value beyond a set timeline.
That initial idea of an expiration date quickly grew into something bigger. We realized that the "best if worn by" concept could be a powerful symbol for people and communities, too. It evolved into a
line that celebrates generally under-recognized social groups and individuals.
We design for a variety of people, including meditators, earth grounders, self-described Star Seeds, and those who proudly identify with their astrological sign.
This is just the beginning, as we will continue to grow and celebrate the small groups that make big impacts. This brand is deeply personal. As a blind person, I know what it means to be part of a community that is often
misunderstood. We created Best If Worn By to join with other blind and visually impaired people around the world who are actively breaking down barriers and changing the conversation from disability to ability. It's my belief that when we wear our identity with pride, we inspire others to do the same.
In every piece of clothing, we want to share a message of inclusiveness, acceptance, and love. We believe that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated for who they are.
In Memory of Fulton The photo you see is of me and my guide dog, Fulton, with the San Francisco Bay in the background. Fulton was my guide and companion, and a symbol of the independence and pride that this brand represents. He passed away in August 2025. This store is a tribute to his memory.
Our Mission Our mission is simple: to create a community where everyone can wear their pride and be proud. Through our designs, we aim to spread kindness, peace, and acceptance for all. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
